Empowerment from the heels up!

Stiletto Studio is Winnipeg’s first heels dance company! Heels explores our innate sensuality through dance. For novices and even for experienced dancers it can be difficult to build self-esteem and overcome insecurities. In Heels, you will learn to be comfortable with natural movement while simultaneously toning and strengthening your body. As intimidating as this might sound, the main goal is to encourage people of any age and body type to come break a sweat in style. Challenge yourself to become your best, strongest and sexiest version.

Bio


Dani Boge

Dani is the founder of Winnipegs first heels dance company Stiletto Studio.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Dani started dancing at the age of six at the Winnipeg School of Performing Arts. During the early years, she trained in tap dance but as many young dancers do she gradually began diversifying her range by taking ballet, jazz and hip-hop.
As a young adult she taught classes at the Royal Dance Conservatory and Vibe School of the Arts, honing her skills as a teacher and developing her knowledge of varying styles. Eventually she moved to Toronto to train in many styles, specifically heels dance. Having spent several years in Toronto refining her technique, Dani’s love of dance and has grown tremendously.
Now, Dani has returned home with a wealth of experience in dance and fitness that she cannot wait to share with the community she grew up in. 
Her infectious enthusiasm and warm demeanor welcomes dancers of all levels.

Elizabeth Dyce

Liz has been a dancer at Stiletto Studio since the very beginning and is one of first heels trained SS staff members! She instructs all levels here at the studio.  

Since 1994, Liz has trained and assisted classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Pointe at Karen Luba School of Dance and Exhale Dance Studio.  

Liz’s technique, positive attitude, and welcoming personality make her an excellent addition to the Stiletto Studio family!

Jade Olynyk

Jade has been dancing since the age of 3.  She is trained in various styles such as; Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Aerial Silks, and Heels.  Jade has been a part of Stiletto Studio since September 2017. Throughout her dance career she has had the opportunity to learn from world renowned choreographers such as Chris Judd and Brian Friedman. 
She has had the opportunity to travel to and compete at Dance World Cup and came home with a gold medal, as well as compete in multiple regional and national competitions such as 5678 showtime, Canadian National Dance Championships and Thunderstruck Dance Competition.
She has been a great addition to Team SS!

Jessica Marsh

Jessica began dancing at a young age and has been cast in several ballets and won a variety of scholarships and awards. Jessica has received training internationally, including at the prestigious school Steps on Broadway in New York City. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Dance Major and graduated from the Senior Professional Program at the School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg. Jessica continues her education by completing courses through the National Coaching Certification Program of Canada.

Fun fact about Jessica is she also competes in pole fitness on an elite, international scale and is a 2x, back to back, Canadian Professional Pole Champion.

Jessica has over a decade of experience teaching dance and fitness classes and is grateful to be able to share her passion of movement with others.

She has been apart of Team SS since 2019 and is excited to continue to grow with the company.

Taylor Perreault

Taylor has been dancing with Stiletto Studio for 6 years, including many drop in classes and showcases.
Dancing in heels was an art form she had always admired and wanted to tru, and when she first started with the Stiletto Squad Taylor had no prior dance experience!
While dancing at Stiletto Studio, Taylor has gained positivity and has been taught the true meaning of self-love.
She is honoured and grateful to get the opportunity to help assist others experience the effect Stiletto Studio can have on their lives.
We are so lucky to have Taylor on our SS team!

Blaire Ayotte

Blaire has been dancing with Stiletto Studio since 2017 and began teaching in 2023. She can't imagine her life without it now. Stiletto Studio was the perfect non-competitive environment to exercise her love of performing and activity as an adult. Blaire has a long history of performing in theatre, emceeing and dance! Her dance career started as a teen with hip hop and broadway dance. Now she is dedicated to creating a positive space for growing confidence alongside dance skills.

Heels dancing has been her favourite way to express herself and grow. She's volunteered her time hosting dance classes with girls to keep their commitment to fitness fun by finding enjoyment in movement. She is so grateful to be a part of Stiletto Studio and assist others in finding the joy she has in dance. 

Lexi Papaioannou

Born and raised in Winnipeg MB. Lexi began dancing at the age of 2 years old, training in ballet, jazz, tap, hiphop, lyrical as well as contemporary. At the age of 7 she began travelling around Canada and the US competing in different competitions and conventions. Once she reached 18 she began teaching in a studio environment, then went on to form her own dance program in her community where she has the honour of working with 30 different dancers training in ballet, jazz, and hiphop.
Lexi recently began teaching at Stiletto Studio after dancing here for the past 3 years. Dance has allowed her to find herself and her confidence over the years, and it is also a safe place to express herself and her creative ideas. She loves being able to meet new people in the dance community and be able to watch other dancers grow in their technique as well as their confidence.
We are so thrilled to have Lexi’s seasoned knowledge here at Stiletto Studio!

May-Fong Yee

May-Fong has been dancing with Stiletto Studio since 2018 and has experienced growth in her confidence, performance skills and dance technique through classes and showcases at Stiletto.
Alongside heels dancing, May-Fong has been a pole dancer for 12 years and teaches pole, pole heels and flexibility classes. In her adulthood, she has trained in jazz, ballet and lyrical dance and enjoys being able to apply her skills to heels dancing at Stiletto Studio.

May-Fong is dedicated to and loves seeing the growth in her students as they develop their abilities and take the stage!

Leanna Nasberg

Leanna grew up a competitive dancer. Trained in ballet, tap, jazz and Ukrainian dance. She was able to perform and compete all over North America, South America and Europe.

In her late twenties she became involved in pole fitness and was approached to become an instructor shortly after. Leanna has one pole competition under her belt where she won first place in PSO northwest in 2017.
Leanna is also a certified group fitness and Lagree instructor.

Her journey at Stiletto Studio began as a student in 2016, Leanna is now guest choreographing for all different level classes here at the studio.

Jaclyn Yutzy

Jaclyn has been dancing with Stiletto Studio for over 8 years. She started her dance journey at the age of 3 at Focus Dance Studio where she trained and danced competitively in jazz, tap and ballet.
As a teen and young adult, Jaclyn continued her training jazz, tap and added hip hop in the mix.
Heels dance has become huge part of Jaclyn’s life and she looks forward to helping build confidence in other dancers while creating a positive experience for them.

Sharra Kohm

Sharra's passion for movement began at a young age and has been a constant throughout her life. She started her dance journey in British Columbia, where she trained in belly dance, and expanded her experience in various other disciplines, including contemporary dance, cheerleading, and theatre. With over 15 years of personal yoga practice, Sharra has developed a deep understanding of body awareness and movement.

As an adult, Sharra has continued to refine her dance technique, training in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and heels. She joined Stiletto Studio in 2023, where she discovered a passion for heels dance. Stiletto Studio has provided her with a supportive environment to build her confidence and further develop her skills. Sharra is excited to share her love of movement and empower others through teaching at Stiletto.
